A Newsletter and a Giveaway

You may have noticed Ink Spells spiffy new look. It's a little more grown-up than my previous Clouds-R-Us look, but the focus at Ink Spells is still on Young Minds. See? It's right up there in the header.

Also new is the Writerly Musings tab. It's a small (but growing) list of posts that have tackled writing issues such as Focusing on Craft, and Adventures in Publishing, and The Equation for Writing Happiness. I've also added cool buttons on my sidebar, not only for the usual suspects (Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads) but also some buy buttons for Life, Liberty, and Pursuit and a button to add it to Goodreads. It's a button bonanza!

The biggest NEW of all: the debut of my author newsletter! The newsletter, called Pursuits, will talk about book recommendations, writer tips, local news (for my Palatine friends), and of course my books and WiP's. You can sign up here (or click the button on the sidebar).

To celebrate the debut of my newsletter (and to encourage you to subscribe!), I'm giving away a copy of Life, Liberty, and Pursuit (where from Pursuits gets its name)!

Just subscribe and leave a comment below. For people who are already subscribers (you know who you are!) you just have to leave a comment to enter the giveaway. You must be a subscriber to win, so make sure you click that button!

I promise not to bore you to tears.

Giveaway open until May 5th, with the winner announced (and newsletter sent!) on May 6th!
